Sol Gabetta's major project
After several years of research, Sol Gabetta recorded the first album dedicated to Lise Cristiani in 2025. It features Lise's favorite pieces — those she played in almost all of her recorded concerts — and others by the same composers. This repertoire is little known today, rarely performed in concert, and even less frequently recorded. For this project, scores were reconstructed and sometimes even reissued with the help of Peter François (Servais Society, Halle, Belgium) and Jean-Christophe Keck (Offenbach Keck Edition, Berlin). Half of the pieces on this album are world premiere recordings.
